Member Spotlight - August 2016
Dillon Gorby is one accomplished young Kappa Omicron Nu member! Being nominated by chapter advisor and Kappa Omicron Nu board president Joni Cramer Roh for the featured member slot is merely the latest of his many accomplishments.
In January, 2016, the CalU senior won the Eastern Athletic Training Association’s District II Quiz Bowl, earning him a spot as District II Representative at the NATA (National Athletic Training Association) Quiz Bowl in June, 2016. He has also been certified by the American Heart Association for CPR and AED, and has earned his Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Health Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification.
Serving first as president-elect and then as president for the 2015-16 school year, Kappa Omicron Nu is not the only organization Dillon has earned membership in. He is also a member of NATA, the Eastern Athletic Training Association, Pennsylvania Athletic Training Society, and several other honorary clubs on campus. Dillon also serves as a volunteer member for the California University Peer Mentor Program, and for many other CalU organizations. All of this while making the dean’s list every semester!
Well done, Dillon!
